Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
10th Overseas Voting Outreach in Dhahran
(Riyadh, 29 April 2018) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducts its tenth (10th) Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2018 at Double Tree Hotel, Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 23 to 28 April 2018.
The 6-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Von Ryan S. Ferrera. The OV Team was able to register 496 new overseas voters, 837 for the certifications, 61 for reactivation, 12 for transfer with reactivation, 3 for transfer of records, and 1 for correction.
The next schedule of OV Mobile Registration will be in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 11-12 May 2018.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters in order to exercise their right to suffrage that would enable them to vote for the Senatorial Elections in 2019. (END)
