Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
16th Overseas Voting Outreach in Buraydah
(Riyadh, 14 July 2015)- Following the successful Overseas Voting (OV) Outreach in Al-Khobar, Eastern Region on 3 – 4 July 2015, the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh conducted its 16th OV Outreach at the Philippine International School in Buraydah, Qassim on 10 – 11 July 2015.
The two-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Vice Consul Redentor D. Genotiva. The OV Team was able to register 220 new Overseas Voters and facilitated one (1) Reinstatement of OV Records.
The outreach was conducted in cooperation with the management of the Philippine International School in Buraydah (PISB) and Filipino Community organizations in Qassim.
Overseas Voting Registration continues to be held at the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh and during Embassy-On-Wheels scheduled in the different regions under the Embassy’s jurisdiction until 31 October 2015.
The next schedule of Overseas Voting Mobile Registration will be held at the Al Jabalain Hotel in Hail Province, Northern Region on 24 – 25 July 2015. (END)
