Philippine Embassy Conducts 19th
Overseas Voting Mobile Registration for 2015

(Riyadh, 09 August 2015) - The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recently conducted its 19th Overseas Voting Mobile Registration at the Al Jazeera International School in Dammam, Eastern Region on 07-08 August 2015.
The two-day registration was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels (EOW) Consular Outreach Mission headed by First Secretary and Consul Mary Jennifer Domingo-Dingal.
During the activity, the Overseas Voters Mobile Team was able to register 279 new Overseas Voters and certified 125 registered voters.
The on-going Overseas Voting Registration is being held at the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh and during Embassy-On-Wheels schedule in the different regions under the Embassy’s jurisdiction until 31 October 2015. Filipino workers in the Kingdom are reminded to bring their old COMELEC Identification Cards when coming for consular services.
The next schedule of Overseas Voting Mobile Registration will be held on 30 August 2015 to 03 September 2015 at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Al Khobar. (END)
