Embassy Conducts Parallel Overseas Voting Registration
(Riyadh, 19 October 2015) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh conducted two (2) parallel Overseas Voting (OV) registration outreach missions in Riyadh and in Al Khafji as the deadline for registration approaches.
The Philippine Embassy conducted two (2) parallel OV registration outreach activities on 09 and 10 October 2015.

In Riyadh, the OV registration outreach was conducted at the International Philippine School in Riyadh (IPSR) on 09 October 2015. The outreach activity at IPSR was able to facilitate a total of 109 OV-related services with 101 new applications for OV registration/certification.
In Al Khafji, the OV registration outreach was conducted at Al Yamama Esteraha, Al Khafji, Eastern Province on 09 and 10 October 2015 as part of the Embassy-on-Wheels (EOW) Consular Outreach mission in the area. A total of 127 new applications for OV registration/certification was facilitated by the team in Al Khafji.
In total, 236 OV-related services were provided by the Embassy during the 2 parallel outreach activities.

Philippine Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Ezzedin H. Tago, again invited all qualified Filipinos in the Kingdom to register as Overseas Voter before the deadline on 31 October 2015. “Let your voice be heard, register now as overseas voter and let your vote count in 2016,” said Ambassador Tago.
Registering as Overseas Voter would allow qualified Filipinos abroad to vote for President, Vice President, twelve member of the Senate and one (1) party-list sectoral representative during the National Elections in 2016.
Filipinos who wish to register as Overseas Voters will be accommodated on the following dates:
