Philippine Embassy Extends
11,932 Consular Services in June 2016

(Riyadh, 13 July 2016) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 11,932 consular services in June 2016:

Passport Services

For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 3,960 passport applications, as follows: 3,758 passport renewal applications; 117 new passport applications and 85 applications for replacements of lost passports.

The Embassy also processed 314 passport validity extensions and 77 Travel Documents.

Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)

In June 2016, the Embassy conducted three (3) consular mobile missions, as follows: Al Khobar on 3 to 4 June 2016, special 5-day consular outreach mission in Al Khobar on 12 to 16 June 2016, Al Khobar on 17 to 18 June 2016.

Visa Services

A total of 361 visas were issued by the Embassy in June 2016, 352 of which were Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 9 Diplomatic Visas.

Civil Registry Services

The Embassy processed 225 civil registry documents in June 2016, as follows: 55 Reports of Marriage; 115 Reports of Birth; 50 Reports of Death; 0 Report of Fetal Death; 5 Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; and, 0 application for Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition under R.A. 9225.

Notarial and Authentication Services

In June 2016, the Embassy provided a total of 2,605 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 2,499 notarials and 106 authentications.

Other Services

In June 2016, the Embassy was able to release 4,228 new passports.
