Philippine Ambassador Conveys Appreciation to
MFA Vice Minister HRH Prince Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah for Support to Peace Process

(Riyadh, 3 May 2014) During a meeting on 29 April 2014 in Jeddah with HRH Prince Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Philippine Ambassador to Saudi Arabia delivered a letter from Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs H.E. Alberto Del Rosario thanking the Vice Minister for witnessing on 27 March the signing of the Comprehensive Agreement on Bangsamoro in Manila, Philippines.

Saudi Arabia is a member of the International Contact Group that observed the peace talks with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, and it is also the Vice Chair of the Peace Committee in the Southern Philippines in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation which observes the implementation of the 1996 Peace Agreement with the Moro National Liberation Front.
