Overseas Voting Registration Outreach in Dammam
9-10 May 2014

(Riyadh, 08 May 2014) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh will conduct its first Overseas Voting Registration outreach mission at Al Jazeera International School in Dammam on 09 to 10 May 2014. The overseas voting registration outreach mission coincides with the Embassy-on-Wheels (EOW).

The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh will conduct its first Overseas Voting Registration outreach mission in the Eastern Province on 09 to 10 May 2014. The Overseas Voting Registration will coincide with the Embassy-on-Wheels (EOW) mission to be held at Al Jazeera International School in Dammam.

The Embassy will facilitate the following Overseas Voting applications:

  1. Registration – For qualified Filipinos who have yet to register as voter either in the Philippines or abroad;
  2. Certification – For Filipinos who have previously registered in the Philippines and will cast his vote in 2016 abroad;
  3. Transfer – For Filipinos who have previously registered as overseas voter but will cast his vote in a different address or jurisdiction abroad or in the Philippines; and,
  4. Other Overseas Voting services – Reinstatement as overseas voter, correction of wrong or misspelled entries, reactivation of registration records, change of address

Registration as overseas voter will allow qualified Filipinos to vote for President, Vice President, twelve (12) members of the Senate, and one (1) party-list representative during the National Elections in 2016. Registration as overseas voter will end on 31 October 2015.

Applicants must present a copy of their Philippine Passport or any other ID during application. END
