Guidelines on the Availment of Awards and
Incentives for Overseas Filipino Centenarians
under Republic Act 10868

(Riyadh, 24 April 2017) – The Philippine Embassy informs all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of the guidelines on the availment of awards and incentives for Overseas Filipino Centenarians.
Signed by President Rodrigo R. Duterte on 26 September 2016, Republic Act 10868 or The Act Honoring and Granting Additional Benefits and Privileges to Filipino Centenarians, and for Other Purposes awards all Filipinos who have reached the age of one hundred (100) a Plaque of Recognition and a cash incentive from the Philippine government.
In addition, a Letter of Felicitation and Centenarian Gift from the national government and the President of the Philippines will also be given to the chosen centenarian.
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has approved the said guidelines on the availment of the awards thru the passage of Republic Act 10868 or the Centenarian Act of 2016 on 9 March 2017.
Qualified applicants may download and fill up the attached application form for the availment of the said award and submit together with the required documents, such as proof of identification, to the Cultural Section of the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh for onward submission to the Commission on Filipino Overseas (CFO).
