Invitation to Attend the 2018 Global Summit II
for Filipino Nurses and the
11th International Nursing Conference
(Riyadh, 1 June 2017) – The Philippine Embassy informs all concerned Filipino nurses in the Kingdom on the holding of the 2018 Global Summit II for Filipino Nurses with the theme: Planetary Health: Unite for Nation Building and 11th International Nursing Conference, with the theme: Global Healthcare Innovations: Bridging the Chasm on 25 – 26 January 2018 at the Blue Leaf Filipinas in Manila, Philippines.
The event is organized by the Philippine Nurses Association of America, Inc. (PNAA) and co-organized by the Philippine Nurses Association, Inc. (PNA), Association of Deans of Philippine Colleges of Nursing (ADPCN) in cooperation with the Commission of Filipino Overseas (CFO).
The 2-day event aims to accomplish the following agenda:
- Recommend actions and policy resolutions to support initiatives of government and civic societies in the Paris Treaty on Climate Change;
- Improve the overall experiences of the migrant healthcare professionals; and,
- Support the development and mutual cooperation of the countries involved.
The Summit will also showcase the innovative contributions to healthcare of Filipino Nurses diasoras from the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia and most especially, from the Philippines.
