Revised Guidelines on Departure Formalities
for International-bound Passengers

(Riyadh, 8 May 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia informs the Filipino community in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other foreign nationals who intend to travel to the Philippines on the attached Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT) Revised Guidelines on Departure Formalities for International-bound Passengers or the Philippine Department of Justice (DOJ) Memorandum Circular No. 036 dated 15 June 2015.

The said Circular directs Immigration Officers, both at the primary and secondary inspection tiers, to establish each passenger’s travel purpose on a case-to-case basis, taking into consideration the totality of circumstances at hand, including the declarations made and documents being presented in relation thereto.
