Lecturer Mr. Tomara M. Ayo, Shari’a Law counsellor

 

(Riyadh, 27 February 2018) - The Philippine Embassy held the 1st lecture on Shari’a Law entitled, “Paralegal Training and Lecture Series on Shari’a Law as it apply to OFW cases” on 21 February 2018 at the 2nd floor of the Embassy chancery.  The lecturer, ATN Case Officer & Shari’a Legal Officer Mr. Tomara M. Ayo, who is a Shari’a Counsellor, presented an overview of the implementation of Shari’a Law in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  The legal system in KSA is based on Shari’a Law which is derived from the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah (the traditions of the Prophet Mohammad pbuh).

The lecture was attended by the Embassy personnel and members of the Filipino community. END
