Philippine Embassy Signs Agreement with Saudi Company for the Consular Annex Building Design

(Riyadh, 22 July 2014) As part of its commitment to further improve its ability to extend consular services to the Filipino workers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh has signed a Contract of Services Agreement with ERAM Consulting Engineers, an engineering and architectural consulting company based in Riyadh, for the Detailed Engineering Design (DED) of the Proposed Consular Annex Building, to be located at the Embassy Chancery.
The planned new 3-storey building will be more spacious with upgraded premises and facilities, which will allow the Embassy clients to have a more convenient experience, especially for those who will avail of consular services such as passport and releasing, authentication and notarial services.
The approved design by ERAM will be the basis for construction of the new building which may start in 2015. (END)
