Philippine Embassy Ladies Join
ASEAN Women’s Circle (AWC) Bowling Tournament

(Riyadh, 24 September 2014) – The Philippine Embassy Ladies Group participated in the ASEAN Women’s Circle (AWC) Bowling Tournament held at Al Khozama Center on 21 September 2014.

The AWC members of the seven ASEAN diplomatic missions in Riyadh were represented, namely: Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. The Philippines was represented by Mrs. Lilian M. Adiong, Mrs. Imelda B. Duran, Mrs. Jacqueline Arpia, and Mrs. Ana Marie Duqueza.

 

Ms. Wanna Sondang of Thailand topped the competition, with Ms. Najwa Hasbullah of Malaysia coming in second and the Philippine Embassy’s Mrs. Duqueza in third.

The fun activity helped strengthen the bond of friendship and camaraderie among the ASEAN ladies, while at the same time encouraged health and fitness. (END)
