VIGAN CHOSEN AS ONE OF THE
7 NEW WONDER CITIES OF THE WORLD

The Philippine Embassy is pleased to inform all Filipino in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that Vigan, Ilocos Sur has been selected as one of the New 7 Wonder Cities of the World 2014.

The official announcement of the final 7 cities was made by Mr. Bernard Weber, Founder and President of the New 7 Wonders in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on 7

Aside from Vigan, Ilocos Sur, the other winning cities are (in alphabetical order):

•    Beirut, Lebanon
•    Doha, Qatar
•    Durban, South Africa
•    Havana, Cuba
•    Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
•    La Paz, Bolivia

The Embassy invites both local foreign tourists to visit Vigan to experience its uniqueness and beauty, befitting to make it one of the New 7 Wonder Cities of the World. (END)
